An old devastating Slovakian apartment in Bratislava was the perfect challenge for architect Rudolf LesÅák, who managed to transform it into a luxurious and comfortable home. Having a total surface of 51 square meter, it was necessary not to fill the interiors with useless day-to-day objects. All the furniture was thus âmade-to measureâ, while the open plan living and dining zone gives away the feeling of space.
LesÅák enjoys mixing colors or changing them according to music or his mood. âUsually I turn it on while watching TV as a complementary lightâ, he says. The living wall in the living room â and its focal point- is made up of golden pothos plant. âI used living plants, because it has positive impact on my health and psycheâ, LesÅák says. âMoreover, it creates a natural opposite to the modern materials and all the technologyâ.
