We love the idea behind this minimalist shelving unit envisioned by Barcelona based mostly designer Roger Moliné. Found on Likecool, Degree was born from a transparent reference on the planet of hydraulic engineering; speaking vessels. These are a collection of vessels containing a homogeneous liquid. Because of the communication between vessels, the fluid strikes till reaching an equilibrium degree, regardless of the inclination or orientation of the glasses. The challenge is split in two elements which talk with one another.
Regardless of its elegant and seamless fragile look, the shelving unit is sturdy and as a consequence, very sensible. Degree consists of two main parts: The primary are the pivots, they permit a correct grip on any type of wall and in addition articulate the motion of the material. These elements are composed of a shaft with bearings which permit rotation of the cylinder which helps the material. And second, canvas acrylic, which because of its stiffness can maintain any type of books. We salute this progressive shelving concept and would undoubtedly take pleasure in seeing it embedded in numerous inside design tasks!
